Experimental Setup
1.
A high end Xeon processor with
Ms-windows 2003 server platform is networked with sixty
windows XP clients under the domain name system.
2. An
exclusive Unix server is available for connecting these windows
family clients through Telnet
for conducting Unix & Shell Programming.
3. Every
student and Faculty of the department is member of the given
domain name system to maintain the security.
4. The
shared printers are available for printing purposes.
5. ‘C’
lab is conducted on TurboC environment and PC software lab is
conducted on windows 2000 for I/III
MCA students.
6. Web
designing lab is conducted with tools like Interdev, front-page
etc. with IIS server
facilities.
7. Oracle
8i is used for conducting RDBMS lab with the provision of student
users.
8. OOPS
lab is conducted on TurboC++ 4.5 for windows.
9. WinRunner
7.0 is used for testing the applications under system auditing
lab.
10. MFC
Programming in Visual C++ is concentrated under Visual Programming
lab with MSDN online help and
Network security
algorithms are
implemented in java environment.
11.
The concept of ‘e-learning’ is introduced in the computer lab
under LAN environment to enable
and strengthen the students on
different computer subjects and to supplement the
