 Profile:

              The Department of Master of Computer Applications - MCA – A Postgraduate course      was   started   in the year 1998 with a mission to impart quality computer education in the coastal      Krishna district area of Andhra Pradesh.  The course was affiliated to Acharya  Nagarjuna       University  and also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and it is initially      started with intake of 30 seats (1998-2000), 60 seats (2001-2008) and subsequently it is increased to 120 till date.

              The Department is equipped with the state of the art computing facilities with  updated       technologies and experienced staff members and is known for its academic excellence proved by      its performances since its inception.  The Computer lab is designed to impart students  under       client server computing technologies to adhere and update them on recent technologies.

             The Department is supported with an excellent infrastructure facility inclusive of well       equipped   seminar hall, library with latest editions, and digital library with internet facilities.

              The pass percentage of the students has been more than 90% with more number   of        first classes and distinctions consistently every year, which speaks of the academic favor in the        department.

              The Department strives hard to impart quality education and to keep the students on the      competitive edge of the present-day technology by conducting seminars and workshops  by       eminent   people.
