Intake for
Electronics and Communications Engineering branch during the year 2005 was only
90. However, the intake for ECE on today is 120 as AICTE has increased and
approved the intake from 90 to 120 for ECE branch with effect from the academic
year 2008-09. (Vide AICTE approved No.F.No. 730-50-223©/ET/97, dated 31st
July 2008).

During the year 2005 Information Technology branch did not exist in our
college. However, AICTE has sanctioned and approved an intake of 60 for
Information Technology branch with effect from the academic year 2008-09 (Vide
AICTE approved No.F.No. 730-50-223©/ET/97, dated 31st July 2008).
A
separate application for variation in intake is submitted (along with processing
fees) requesting for an increase of seats from 30 to 60 forCivil
Engineering branch and decrease in intake of seats from 60 to Zero
for Information Technology branch, thus effecting decrease in the total
intake from 420 to 390.
