·         In order to request the authorities of the university to modify the syllabus and to streamline the procedures, our faculty members discuss and submit their recommendations. Thus, our faculty members take part, indirectly, in the affairs of the University.

·         Delivering of topics beyond syllabus & utilizing lab facilities for practical work.

·         Guiding students in  competitive exams like GATE, GRE etc.,

·         Preparing students for technical seminars and improvement of soft skills.

 

v      Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance

 

In our institution, we have formulated a methodology by which exchange of opinions for better governance is established.

 

·        Meetings of all the staff members with the Chairman of the organization are held once in an year.

·        Chairman of the organization and the Principal of the institution discuss the matters related to the college at least once in two days.

·        Principal convenes the meetings with Heads of the Departments with at least once in a month.

·        At the Department level, HoDs conduct meetings with faculty members at least once in a month.

·        At the Department level, HoDs conduct meeting with all the non-teaching staff members twice in an year.

·        At the Department level, prevailing Proctorial system gives a scope to express the feelings & opinions of students.

·        Open door policy, inviting suggestions for improvement

·        Norms & Procedures stipulated by the Acharya Nagarjuna University and AICTE are followed for good governance.

·        Principal counsels the students, & staff, individually.

 

v      Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance

 

Feedback from students for each faculty member and for each subject is periodically obtained in prescribed format.  Subsequent analysis of the feedback and the corrective steps are taken periodically.

 

Similarly, suggestions of students regarding the institution also are entertained for the good of the institution.

 

v      Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students

 

Open door policy is being followed. Students and Staff can meet the Principal any time to sort out their problems.  E-mail IDs of Principal, HoDs, Training & Placement Officer, Administrative Officer, NSS Programme Officer have been circulated to staff and students for their grievance redressal.
